Pups are born!
It is official! Sunday and Yogi have mated!
Although Sunday is a tad bit late on her cycle, it is nothing out of the ordinary. This puts the target date for her to deliver her pups around August 22nd.
Be sure to get your deposits in if you are interested in securing a pup.
Sierra is also coming into heat as I write this and expect that she and Yogi will mate in the next few days.
You can go to our Parents page to see their photos.
All our pups from our previous litters have been adopted. Our next mating is planned for the end of May – 2016. We have a waiting list and are currently accepting deposits. A deposit will move you to the top of the waiting list. Puppies are selected by the new family in the order of which the deposit is received. So if you are interested don’t delay… get your deposit in today to hold a spot.
If all goes well we are hoping to mate our male Yogi with our three girls… Sunday, Sierra, and Precious.
You can find all their photos here on our Havanese Parents page.

Princess was adopted into her new home on Saturday. I talked to her new mom after the long ride home (the other side of the state) and she said that Princess was extremely well behaved on the ride home. Her new mom initially had hopes of training her to go outside immediately but Princess is pretty set in her ways right now about using the litterbox. That’s definitely not a bad thing, but she will need to get a little more comfortable before she feels at ease enough to use the outdoor potty. I’m sure that once it warms up they will have no trouble transitioning her to go potty outside.
Princess was always a little on the shy side, but her new mom said that Princess is already warming up to the kids just in 1 day and she doesn’t think that will be an issue at all. I know that once Princess becomes truly comfortable with her new family, her relationship with her new siblings with really begin to blossom.
Duchess was adopted into her new home on Saturday. I talked to her mom today and she said the Duchess is already learning to go potty outside. That’s a pretty good transition in just 2 days. Duchess was previously litter-trained, as are all of our puppies.
Duchess’ mom said that she is a little shy, but that’s to be expected since she no longer has her 2 sisters to rough-house with. They said that she’s slowly coming around, and I know that once Duchess gets really comfortable, there’ll be no separating her from her new human sister!
